Quick Start
To start using EimasOnline administrative system follow the five following simple steps:

Tutorial
1) Enter Students Demographics information
First step using eimas is to enter students and demographics information. If you already have a database file please contact eimasonline for details about students database importing process.
To add a student is simple:
Log in, go to student tab, press Add Studen t button.
Write student name, last name, address, student number and other related information and press Save Changes Button.
Student demographic information can be added in the three first tab: Student, Info II, Info III.

2) Classes/Courses setup
Classes and course can be setup in System Setup / .

A course is a group of classes. for example a First Grade is a course and Mathematics, English are classes part of the first grade course.
If you add a course to a student you are adding all the classes contained in that course.

To add a new course go to , enter a unique id in the CourseĀ  Unique ID field and enter a name in Course Name field.
Press Add New Course Button.
The course added will appear in the list below. Press Edit on the left of the course name to change or add information.
To add a class to this course, press the View/Add Classes on the right and a new page will load.
In the class page you can add a class with one or more sections.
To add a Class enter the information in the fields and press Add Class button.
To add a section, select the class, enter the information in the empty fields below and press
A dd Section button button.

3) Associate Classes/Courses with Students
To add course/Classes to a student, go to the desired student using the search option on the left of eimasonline and press the tab Classes.
Press the Add New Course / Classes button and a new page will load to let you select the course you want to add.
On the left grid a list of courses will appear. on the right grid a list of classes related to the selected course on the left will appear.
To add a Course select the courseĀ  and press the Add the selected course to Student button. The previous Class page will appear with the course you selected and all the related classes.

4) Setup Reference codes: Grades, Attendance, Discipline, Progress
To setup Grades go to System Setup / .
EimasOnline can use several different grades configuration to be applied to different Courses/ Classes.

To add a configuration scheme press Add New Configuration button. in the Name field enter the desired name. The list of fields below represent the columns in the grades tab. Each row is a column in Eimasonline Grades tab. You can decide if the row/column will be visible, will accept data entry or will be a product of a formula.
After the desired configuration is entered press the Save Changes button.

Mark Configuration . To enter the desired configuration just enter the Mark, the range values and press add.

To setup Attendance and Discipline codes go to System Setup and enter the desired options. The list will appear during the data entry in the corresponding tab in the combo box as a list.

5) Enter Grades, Attendance, Discipline, Progress...
To enter grades to a student go to the desired student, press the Grades tab and a list of classes will appear. Press edit on the left of the class record, enter the grade in the desired field and press update.
If you want to enter grades for a group of students press the Enter Grades by Group / Class in the grades page and a new page will load.
Insert the desired class parameters and press Get Class. Grades will be entered pressing the edit on the left of the student name, entering the grade and pressing update.

To enter Attendance go to the desired student, press the attendance tab, enter the attendance information in the corresponding fields and press Add Attendance button. If you want to enter Attendance for a group of students press the Enter Attendance by Group / Class in the Attendance page and a new page will load.
Insert the desired class parameters and press Get Class. On the left a list of student will appear. Select the student, enter the attendance code on the right field and press Add Attendance . To add attendance for the following student, select the student on the left list, enter attendance code on the right and press Add Attendance.
